Spring and Summer is the start of the best celebration and parties in Rio.

What to See:

Christ the Redeemer, Ride a cable car to top of Sugarloaf Mountain at Sunset, Hang Glide over Copacabana Beach, See a Futbol match, climb the Escadaria Selaron, and sun yourself on some of the world’s most stunning beaches!

Where and What to Drink:

04_FHA_rshow_astorCaipirinhas, brazil’s national cocktail (made of cachaca liquor and lime juice) at the beautiful Bar Astor with sweeping views of Ipanema Beach.

Where to Dance:

2239403042_4de2a75fb0_bSamba the night away in the multi-level eclectic bar Rio Scenarium. Where young and old all come together to dance and have a good time.

Where to shop:

4bb8a8fc9a14ba306299c6a352c4d7ccH. Stern is headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and has a great museum there on their history and all about gemstones in Brazil.

Best Beach:

Impanema Beach is by far the best of the Rio Beaches. Go for the day, rent a chair, grab a fresh coconut and some Globos (Crunchy donut shaped snacks).

Where to get a massage:

After a dinner poolside at the Copacabana Palace, I highly suggest the Copacabana Palace Spa. Get a 4-handed Abhyanga Massage followed by a body treatment based in traditional Amazonian medicinals to sooth your body and soul!
